LINGERING GHOSTS

Studio7Arts has published a collection of poems entitled Lingering Ghosts by Charles Simic. There is a regular edition of 250 and a limited edition of 26 (signed and lettered, hand-sewn, with photographs of Simic reading).

"The nineteen poems included here were mostly written last fall and this winter, making them too late for inclusion in my new book of poems. The only exception is the new version of "The Emperor", a poem I first wrote in the 1990s. I hope the title Lingering Ghosts says it all. The ghosts that were with me when I started writing fifty-five years ago, still won't let me be."—Charles Simic
